Proud of my potatoes!

Hi veggie fans
I just came in after digging up a few potatoes in my garden and my smile is a mile wide. I never thought I would be this excited about potatoes let alone my first carrots. I think half of it was due to The Worlds Best Compost It worked wonders.
Must go and wash and prepare them for dinner!
Any potato recipes besides the normal of mash or potato salad? I would be most welcome to hear about them.

Hi friends
This is the first post since starting a blog, so here goes.
Its a sunny, Friday afternoon and I am writing this from Izumi Mango Farm - which is our home.
The Cherry blossoms are in full bloom and the bush is lush and fresh smelling after some heavy rains last night. I took an early morning walk with Shiny up the hill and once again was in awe of the sights up there. The trees are looking spectacular and if you haven't been up this way yet, I really recommend you to come. The festival is still on, until mid Feb, but the trees won't be in such full form until then. I would say that this coming weekend will be the last good viewing time and thereafter the new leaves will be coming out.
Sunshine is calling, gotta go.
